Prince Joachim Congratulates Elite Research Prize Winners
Looking much less morose and vulnerable than his older brother who was here at the Glyptotek Museum the week prior, Prince Joachim, along with the Education Minister Morton Østergaard, handed out prizes to the five laureates of the Elite Researchers Awards. These awards are bestowed on the nation's foremost researchers, and this year's winners are doing exceptional work in the following fields: molecular medecine; mathematical graph theory; solar energy; and nanotechnology. Good choice to allow the serious of the two elder Princes to Denmark take on this role, looking proud of, rather than diminishes by, the advances of these scientists.
