"Where is Princess Snow White?", asked the Russian guests at the opening of Daisy's Wild Swans costume exhibit. "Ah, this honourable visitor must be mother! Certainly with skin that porcelain-like, delicate lady in portrait does not venture out into elements to do things mundane like travel. So, this person who came, she is artist? Nyet? Where is artist? Ah, yes, queen of Denmark. That is fragile morsel of femininity in portrait, no? No? Who is that lady, and what artistic finery does she allow her fine fingers to engage in periodically so as not to ruin them? Nothing? This cannot be. So, neither Princess Virginal Godly Thoughts in portrait and this caretaker's daughter thinggie flat as board who came is artist? Where is this queenly creator and why has she been substituted with lower rank secretary? Is this formal declaration of war by Denmark? This is MOST undiplomatic!"

This seems like such a random visit. Why is she even there? What's the official explanation for Mary going on a jolly to Russia?
ReplyDeleteI wonder how much Denmark had to pay St. Petersburg to (a) have them stage the exhibit and (b) invite the Crow Princess to open it. Not something any self-respecting art capital would do for free.
ReplyDeleteThere is insanity in her eyes.
ReplyDeleteAfter almost a decade in public life, she is still just a wannabe. That Russian blonde in the photos looks cultured, calm and elegant, which is something our ageing bogan is completely lack of. Why on earth is there a gigantic photoshopped picture of her? This exhibit is nothing about her. This woman is unbelievably full of her ugly self.
