Happy Birthday, Mary! Thanks For the Laughs, the Blog Friendships, the Good Times: My Work Here Is Done: You Are Still a Loser. Good Luck With That.

"What? You'll be back. After all, it's ME!"

This is the last post of the Danish Royal Media Watch. Barring any head injuries or divorce announcements at the court of the Clown Princely Couple, this is it. One last chance to say goodbye and to thank you and Maz for all the good times.

Nota bene: there is no truth to the rumours that this blog has been shut down by Daisy, the Grey Men (tm), or any another person or entity. It's just time to move on and focus on wonderful life changes. I'm also finally tired of waiting for Fred to divorce and have no more energy for a dipshit fame whore from Tasmania as she brings Denmark closer to revolt and a republican form of government.

I hope Hester will pop up in the comments and give her two kroner on thissie, but I think she'd agree that the whole time she and I put this blog and the CPMary blog together, you all (both our friends and the sourpusses) have kept us going. Yrma may be the petrol that has fueled this motor, but you've been there to make us want to drive down this scenic royal road. Thanks for the fun, here and on RD. Most of you have been a delight to write for and have fun with. It's amazing to see how many people all across the world have followed the blog. Every funny and lovely comment was an uplifting joy to read. Nearly every pissy comment was pretty fun, too. As Derf is yet to discover, you can't fix stupid, but you can have fun with it! Thank you all.

Today is Mary's 42nd birthday. I still take no comfort in the fact that she is a woman who has arrived at middle age with every material comfort and extravagance at her disposal as a person with no sense of duty, no self-awareness, no empathy, no sense of obligation or responsibility except to her own vanity, with a jowly face full of fillers and as a truly corrupt and ineffective representative of the Kingdom of Denmark. She doesn't just suckle at the public teat; she demands more and better milk beyond anything she can drink. Mazza is a vapid, unimportant, uncaring, totally narcissistic tick on Denmark's arse, sucking up all the blood she can drink until the peasants realise they should pull this toxic insect out of their skin, yank its head off (metaphorically), then send it to the waste bin of history.

Mary, you will always be a loser.

    1. Hugs back, sweet Elissa! Yes, bookmarking for D-Day is smart. Royal attorney Henrik Wedell-Wedellsborg is on notice to do his part to add to the drama. Lord knows Fred won't be in any shape to properly stick it to the bogan!

  5. Aw, Cec, say it ain't so! Thanks for all the great blogging. I bet you a million that the Danish royals know about this blog and fear it. I'm sure Amber and the ugly sisters have left comments before. You managed to keep Mary down. I am convinced of it. We owe you a debt of gratitude for the laughs and fun. Good luck..

  6. Thank you, Cec, for years of entertainment at the Fata Borgana's expense. Thank you for belly laughs, for tears of laughter, for spoiled keyboards and monitors, and for all the clever snark. Your posts will be missed because your rapier wit never, ever missed the mark.

  8. As much as I think you're nuts (sorry), I'll miss your rants; but there's always Royal Dish. I don't know why I bother reading "trash", maybe there just might be some truth in it somewhere after all. And you certainly do know how to turn a phrase.

    All the best to you.

Have enjoyed the past 2-3 years since I stumbled onto your blogs - and when I've had ( had the time, reading the past posts, photos and captions of DRMW and A Bogan In Denmark (I recommend them to everyone). You've been spot-on, clever, witty and insightful. Enjoy the exciting new chapter in your lives - warm regards xx

  11. A blogger quiz:
What do these European states have in common: Italy, Finland, France, Germany, Prussia, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Hungary, Albania, Yugoslovia, Bulgaria, Poland, Austria, Russia ...
Answer: They all had monarchies that were abolished in the 20th century
And as a result, taxpaying "subjects" are more solvent; "subjects" are not humiliated with having to fund ostentatious royal lifestyles: and human beings aren't expected to bow and curtsy to other human beings. Nothing petty about that. It's only a matter of time for the "slow" Danes to catch on. Why? Because they are not all sharing the same "experience" For example, some Danes are homeless and some live in palaces. QE had enough grace and respect for humanity to say she would never try to stop any UK country that wanted to become a republic. Daisy did you hear that?. There is a fast growing number of organizations that are ffighting to abolish monarchiies and they need. support One is The Alliance of European Republican Movements (AERM). This blog may go away, but the fight for equality and demoncracy will never go away. Cece thank you for your commentary and most importantly for enabling free speech on an important topic

  14. Dear Cece, thank you for many good and bright blogs over the years. Especially thank you for giving many Danes me included a space to actually speak out their opinion and desire to change the monarchy due to the current royal family and their lack of ability to be dignified and respected rollmodels. I wish you all the best in your future endavours! Held og lykke, dit vid og evne til at analysere denne underlige størrelse af et monarki har været fantastisk at følge, vi kommer til at savne dig, tak!

    1. You're welcome. Only in royal Denmark can the cyclist be found guilty of hitting the princess's SUV and jeopardising Mary's safety.

  19. I think that Fredrik did not get him self a wife from Tasmanien, more likely a snake from Tasmanien!Mary is not more than acting and want to have every eyes on her....creepy woman.I also believe that Fredrik is week for his job as a royal when he let his snake/wife do most of the jobs.Danish royals are more of a fashion family nowdays and Mary is the best of them of"look what I can afford to buy clothes today"....I just love myself !

  22. In other words, Mary's a total sociopath.. I agree with that!!!!!!! Since you read this Mary guess what, go SUCK IT. You're a nasty, smelly bogan and ya better watch out cuz kharma's gonna kick your flat ass! Thanks for the fun cece. Good luck to you and see you on Divorce day..lol.. come on Fred you can do it!

  23. Cece-do not go away for a long time ! We will miss you.Of course there will be a divorce, but it will take some time, but people are already talking among there closets friends that Fredrik is not happy at all and have problems with how to get away from that marriage-specially when the kids are so young and for the monarki. Many feels sorry for his position right now -but who knows what is the truth about that! We will see.

    1. Frederik should consider that it's somewhat "better" for the kids to divorce when they are still quite young...
And if a future King of the UK was able to divorce from a well-loved and admired wife, then he should be able to do the same without much trouble...

  26. I hope you will be come back to the blog. I would be greatly interested in your interpretation of the latest news, a play on the "reluctant prince" .... I don't think that there is a future for Mary in Denmark. no matter how manipulative and power-hungry she is. Things may change around her in a minute.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Thanks, but no more for me! It's all good because as you mention, the Danes are getting braver, and this play about the reluctant prince picks up on exactly that. I mean, the scene whereby Derf must impregnant his wife with her legs splayed sort of picks up exactly on Hester's and my thoughts about the Miracle Twins conception: http://cpmary.blogspot.com/2010/08/mary-does-it-again.html. You see, it was never about Mary for them. Mary has never been loved for Mary.

Mary was only seen as someone the sweet, doofus crown prince loved. Now they know it isn't true. She's a horrible wife and mother and no amount of posing on the roof in the arms of her husband in evening attire will convince anyone of it. She will NEVER be loved in Denmark, so if she divorces, it will be hard for her unless she can put her head down, be a mother, show up for a handful of her patronages as her only publicity. And we all know Little Mary Boganson can't do that.

Moreover, circumstances keep reminding her of Fred's old girlfriends, too. Just the other day Mary attended an event about Asger Jorn, a COBRA artist. COBRA is Katja Storkholm's restoration specialty! Her love for contemporary art is matched by Fred's (who I've always believed inherited Daisy's artistic sensibilities). Mary basically lives in a palace that was customed designed for Fred and Katja! http://pleasure.borsen.dk/design/artikel/1/226996/topmodellen_blev_cobra-konservator.html

  27. In fact, originally Mary was nothing else but a one night stand with her legs apart in a bar, picked up by Fred. By now he is well aware that he ruined his life, not by being a prince but by marrying the wrong woman.

Good luck and again thanks for the laughs for all these years!
