Yrma La Douche Requests Meeting with USAID Chairman at Amalienborg: Flirts With US Ambassador, Mistakes Smart Brown Person for Mary-Ego Vehicle, Sponsors Meeting for Cameras, Will Do Nothing But Get Free Trip to US Out of It

"So, I don't see a wedding ring on that finger, Mr. Gifford-Ambassador-Cutie-Sir, hihihihi"

Maz,

Knock it off, for the love of Pete. Rufus Gifford is gay, Dr. Rajiv Shah doesn't care either, and you are no international saviour of anything but your ego. You weren't even on Shah's itinerary for this Scandinavian visit of his. Just because he's brown doesn't mean he needs your help! Just because he used to work for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation doesn't mean it will be that easy to become billionaire Melinda's next bestie (like she already is with the Norways). Quick, tell us what USAID does! Eh! Wrong, they are not the agency when you need aid to become a public figure in the US. Please employ actors who will teach you how to be a discrete, humble princess in Denmark. Focus your public "efforts" on a handful of strong, domestic issues and actually make them move forward instead of just showing up in New York City with a new outfit. No one cares what you do to your face, it's what you do to Denmark that matters.

Cheers,

Weary Danish taxpayers

"Did my darling friend Rufus here tell you how much I love The Browns?"

"I just returned from your home nation of Mexico, Mr. Shah. Such lovely Browns!"

Two Americans and a horse's ass!

FAIL: NYC Celebrity Poverty Festivities!: Saviour of the World Princess Yrma La Douche Nervously Gets Her World Stage Groove on with Refugee-Hating Mr. Bach By Her Side: Looking For Bono and Hugh Jackman and Shoe Sales

from @marcscarpa's Instagram

Accompanied by "brown nanny" Tanja Kjærsgard Doky and Derf's Court Chief Christian Schønau, and of course, new bestie and favourite flirt Christian Friis Bach, Mary hit the Big Apple ready and anxious for the flowers at the airport, the waving fans on the car ride into the city, the cheering hoards waiting impatiently outside her 5 star hotel, and the reporters (English language only, please) shouting questions about how she managed to eliminate poverty and what designers she'll wear to the Opera House celebrations in Sydney in October.

In reality, Mary is still a little nobody at the United Nations, and her body language reveals her knowledge of that truth. That's because The Mary Fund is just that - a fund for promoting MARY! Not for actually helping people. That's how it goes with narcissists and sociopaths. Why, just ask Lance Armstrong who, like Mary, could lie without blinking, and soak up more and more riches. But even Lance actually rode his bike - drugged up for sure - through the French mountains. Where's Mary's "bike"? What does she do with that money? Why she goes to African countries and MENA countries and gets the locals to treat her like a visiting dignitary, then only "observes" anti-poverty and pro-women's groups doing whatever they're doing so she can get a photo-op to make people believe she really does something positive for humanity (not Denmark - eww).

Yesterday, Mary attended the High Level Task Force's meeting on female genital mutilation. No word on whether she gave a testimony of life with a Presque-zizi. Today, Mary got herself clearance to tag along on the Star-Studded Celebration of Global Poverty With The World's Most Elite Douchebags in Central Park. Her radar will be carefully honed for the people who mean something to her like Major Asshole Bono or Australians like Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman. What with motherfucking Harry coming to Oz and motherfucking baby George getting christened, Mary needs to reinforce the Australian publicity prior to her visit 27-28 October, and a photie with Kylie or Naomi or shit, even Jackie Weaver would help a sister!

Introduced by Barbara Bush, daughter of President Bush who himself was treated to a birthday party by Daisy several years back and who Mary met in Malaysia, Mary got on stage, nervously stood there, then said, "I can't see", which was picked up by the microphone. A few steps over to the left, she could finally see the teleprompter to begin her canned speech on gender equality. Lord have mercy. The oversized butterfly necklace was no doubt a nod to The Mary Fund (and therefore the real beneficiary of all this attention!).

It's a MARYGASM! Wha hae! "THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR - GLOBAL ADORATION!!!" Except for the scowl due to facing the sun, and the less-than-overflow crowd of out of work Millenials, Mary is surely feeling pretty darn good right about now and is just waiting for her phone to start ringing off the hook.

Video: Billed Bladet - hilarious to hear the BB editor talk about how Mary had a very big slot at the festival!

"Yeah!"

Iron thighs and men's cut trousers do nothing for you, Mary! We've been shouting it for years!

Actually, it's Mr. Bach who has been on the run and doing most of the heavy lifting when it comes to governmental action on these important issues that the UN is trying to address. The Danish UN Mission's Twitter feed does not have ONE mention of Yrma, but they are plugging Bach on his busy schedule in NYC, even as he rides one of those ridiculous circular bikes that six people pedal together. Guess Madam had a massage and shopping session planned before her big concert debut and couldn't join him. Shame!

Mr. Bach at the main dias with no Saviour Mary in sight! Strange!

Panel discussion in front of suited biggies. No Saint Mary in sight! Weird!

Talking poverty with people he'd never want to emigrate to Denmark. No Mary anywhere!

Mary: "Yay, you're black! I love getting my photo taken with blacks. By chance, you poor, too? Oh, do you like my hair? I hope this is over soon. Barney's is having an AMAZING shoe sale!"
UN Delegate: "Honey, you know you're only here because your Prime Minster called in a favour, right?"

Oopsies! The stereotype of Denmark as a perfect welfare state with no one slipping through the cracks is not quite true. Things are getting bad for the poor there, and with this neo-liberal strain of governing going viral, and the global recession getting worse, real answers need to be found. This could be the ideal focus of The Mary Fund, but sorry! It's for MARY, not Denmark, see. Sowwy!

Facts on Poverty in Denmark

Poverty in Denmark is not the same as poverty in Romania or Ethiopia.

The OECD has set a poverty threshold of relative poverty. According to this method you are considered poor if you earn less than half as much as the middle income in the country.

For a single person in Denmark, the poverty line is 105,423 kroner per year, or 8,800 per month. The amount is calculated after tax and is supposed to cover all expenditure such as rent, food , insurance, clothing, medicine, transportation, repairs, recreation, etc.

The number of poor people in Denmark has been increasing over the years, and there actually measures with the OECD poverty line, nearly a quarter of a million poor people in Denmark.

Of the nearly 250,000 Danes who live in poverty, there are 67,000 children. In 2002, the number of poor children was 42,000. Thus, there has been a growth in the number of poor children of almost 60 percent.

Looking at the long-term poor, that is, people who have been poor for over three years, the group is 105,000 people - or 62,000 children, not counting students. The group of long-term poor (excluding students) has risen by 80 percent since 2002.In total there are now 14,600 children who have lived for three consecutive years in poverty.

Poverty means that many Danish children must choose between healthy food in their lunchbox, the cinema, leisure activities, children's birthdays or warm winter clothing. For the children there is much for the carefree lives of play, laughter and togetherness, which is a given for most other children.

The largest group of poor children are the ones who grow up with a single parent, usually a mother, who receive transfer payments in the form of cash benefits, sickness benefits, unemployment or disability benefits. Transfer payments are not increasing at the same rate as everything else in society. The longer these children's parents are on benefits, the deeper poverty will be.

Anyone can for a month or two - or six months - clock in with a low performance. But when the low performance is her basis for years, problems arise with regard to accessing proper diet, to going on holiday or to the movies, paying rent and the replacement of furniture that breaks or natural wear up. Many single parents on benefits fail to go to the dentist, they do not buy prescription drugs and they do not hold or participate in family celebrations, requiring gift purchases. In this way, poverty also to isolation because they can not afford to be social.

In addition, poverty - in addition to being stigmatising - also tends to reproduce itself. Children of single parents have eight times more likely chance to end up as a municipal file case than other children. Children of single parents have significantly less chance to get an education - and thus a well-paid job - than other children. Children of single parents on benefits have a significantly higher risk as a 25-year-old to be on benefits than other children. Poor children become poor adults.

Denmark is also the only Nordic country where the poverty curve is not broken. In Norway, Finland and Sweden, poverty is declining.

Round shoulders, Mary! Careful, good posture makes you look more princess-y!

Sportif!: Derf Sails and Talks Dirty With Mates in San Francisco: Further Proof IOC Membership Was Giant Excuse For Playtime

"Wook at me! I go sailing wiff big boys! Yay!"

While his non-hard-working, bad Danish speaking wife-thinggie embarrasses Denmark and insults the Syrian civil war refugees in Jordan with the most grandiose incidence of irony around the issue of social welfare recipients, contrasting desperate, Muslim emigrants to the tiny Scandinavian nation with a desperate, skanky, work-shy, orchid-loving, grifter immigrant, Fred rides his recent Ironman victory high all the way to San Francisco, in California, USA, to "observe" America's Cup races in the beautiful bay there. Guess Mary really did succeed in swapping out the young, buxom blonde nannies with older hags, 'cause otherwise our boy would be deep c diving at home!

Do neither of these idiots realise that there are four children alone in a psychedelic palace with no one but young Danish women and underpaid staff to mind them? Hopefully, Auntie Marie made her way over to the children's palace for plenty of cuddles. Fred, go home. You're doing nothing for Denmark by sailing and talking dirty with your mates. There are sailboats and beer in Denmark. Go home and help Izzy with her first experience with homework. Huh? With Madam in Jordan, more time to hit the clubs after the kiddos go to bed and meet new friends.

Psst: careful with your wedding ring. You have a tendency to lose them in the US when you attend sailing events there! (Have the hotel search your nightstand immediately after you check out, and discretely mail it back to you in Denmark.)

Three years ago His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark took the helm of Jimmy Spithill’s RC 44. Sailing with Spithill this week as a guest onboard ORACLE TEAM USA’s AC72 was an entirely new experience.

“It’s so different from monohull sailing. These boats are like big birds that fly really low to the water. It’s definitely amazing,” said Crown Prince Frederik.

A competitive sailor, Crown Prince Frederik recently skippered a crew of Denmark’s Olympic legends at the 2013 ISAF Nations Cup. He also completed his first Ironman – the 2013 KMD IRONMAN Copenhagen – a day prior to traveling to San Francisco.

As an athlete, he quickly recognized the skill and physicality required to race the AC72.

“There is a lot of focus from all of the crew – the AC72 demands attention as everything happens in a short time span and the stress level can be quite high,” said Crown Prince Frederik. “The experience of the crew is evident in how they work together.

“I’m very thrilled to have been able to be here and to join the team onboard – I feel very lucky.”

Crown Prince Frederik will be watching much of this year’s America’s Cup from his home in Copenhagen. He is also a member of the International Olympic Committee, and he will be attending the IOC’s annual general assembly during the Cup, but will be paying close attention.

FAIL: Yrma in NYC: Presents Remodeled Finn Juhl Chamber to Bored UN Audience, Makes Sure She's Noticed By the Assembly and Mr. Bach

Shiny! Name the "beauty" procedure!

So, four and a half days in New Yawk and Madam's time in the shops and at the myriad day spas and local society surgeons have yielded strange results. MoreMore certainly has that shiny post-facial sheen that should have been subdued with blotting paper or powder. But her appearance in a very autumnal outfit at the United Nations' rededication of the original Finn Juhl-designed Trusteeship Council Chamber next to Minister of Development and African travel partner Christian Friis Bach certainly leaves something to be desired. This is the room that was under construction when Daisy came through on her NYC visit a couple of years ago.

Madam was also accompanied by her private secretary Tanja, and interestingly, Derf's private secretary Christian Schønau. Derf is currently at an IOC event in Peru moderating a panel discussion at a breakout session at the exact same time Madam is inaugurating new interior design. No High Level Task Force here just an interior design unveiling, and yet Derf's secretary is with her. Ah, she must have needed him to help her with her intricate knowledge of the internationally-recognised master of classic Danish design Finn Juhl. Every design student in the world knows this man and the contributions that he gave to Denmark's reputation as a design centre. Ah, but no, MoreMore spent more time on pore-cleaning and waiting in Upper East Side doctors' reception rooms than practicing for her big debut. Her interview in the video below shows her lack of real connection to anything this Fin Yool funny named person ever did besides the boilerplate remarks she was given. Pathetic answers to the interviewers questions, and pathetic Danish language skills. And super ugly mouth when speaking.

Remind me why two secretaries, nearly five days in town, and the Minister of Development were needed for a five minute speech in which she acted as a mannequin spokesmodel were important?

Danish Design Recreated and Renewed at the UN Building in New York

Classic and modern Danish interior designs have been merged in the completed renovation of the Trusteeship Council Chamber in the United Nations building, giving the interior design in this iconic hall a fresh and original edge.

In 1950, the Danish furniture architect Finn Juhl was given a special and career-changing assignment. As part of a gift from Denmark to the United Nations, he was commissioned to design the Trusteeship Council Chamber in the new UN building, which at the time was under construction in New York. When the chamber was inaugurated in 1952, it was clear that Finn Juhl had completed one of his most innovative projects ranking among the most iconic contributions to the Danish cultural heritage of interior design abroad.

Every little detail and curve in the chamber had been analysed and designed by Finn Juhl – from the curved ceiling that makes the hall appear larger, to the wall sconces and unique FJ51 delegates’ chairs made of walnut. The curtains in the chamber were designed and tailor-made by Paula Trock and Spindergaarden in the Danish town of Askov and the sculpture on the wall of a woman releasing a bird was created by the Danish sculptor Henrik Starcke.

After many years of wear and tear, UN commissioned in 2007 to do a complete renovation of the entire complex and the Trusteeship Council Chamber. Along with Realdania, the Danish Ministries of Culture and Foreign Affairs accepted a request to co-fund and collaborate with the UN on the renovation of this Danish gift. Aside from recreating Finn Juhl’s interior by renovating the sunken floor in front of the podium, maintaining the horseshoe formation of delegates’ chairs and tables and reintroducing the FJ51 delegates’ chairs in a modified version, the Danish Arts Foundation also invited Danish interior designers to enter a competition for the design of additional furniture for the chamber.

In 2011, Kasper Salto and Thomas Sigsgaard were appointed winners with their creation of new delegates’ chairs designed from two parts in 3D veneer and curved tables for the delegates and the Secretariat. These new additions to Finn Juhl’s original plan, will introduce a touch of modern interior design to a classic and timeless setting of Danish cultural heritage. The refabricated curtains in the renovation project are provided by the successor of Paula Trock, Hanne Vedel, who secured the rights to the original design and fabric of the curtains in 1970.

The recreated and renewed Trusteeship Council Chamber will be re-inaugurated today at the United Nations complex in New York. Among those in attendance, who will mark this new beginning of Danish interior design showcased at the UN are H. E. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, HRH the Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, the Danish Minister for Development Cooperation Christian Friis Bach as well as the designers Kasper Salto and Thomas Sigsgaard.

FAIL: Princess MoreMore Donaldson Steps Out In Spanx To Meet With Hastily Assembled Power Players To Make Her Seem Important

A highly sexualised and orange-clad Princess Yrma did not make a mark on New Yorkers or other Americans with her recent four day visit to Manhattan. Madam did loads of shopping and in between spent two hours in a back-of-house conference room at the United Nations for the "Why Poverty" initiative kick-off, and another two hours yesterday under the guise of the ambiguously named High Level Task Force to show off a curvaceous platter of thigh fat squeezing out from her Spanx bike shorts, wrapped in a striped, cow-print dress, matching her new hair dye to her orange dress, shoes and bag and obligatory Dulong. She's learning...all the wrong lessons. Sigh. One of the people Madam's goons were able to wrangle up for this High Level Task Force (To Make Madam World-Famous) is the president of Mozambique, who not so coincidently agreed (under duress?) to have Madam visit his country in early November. MoreMore also wrangled the president of Finland out of guilt for her husband's curiosity about Yrma's family order (Mares actually thinks he was looking at her non-existant breasts!). Madam can make things happen for her own publicity (sometimes), but can't seem to be of any use to the problems of worldwide poverty, maternal deaths and - what was that other, Diana-sanctioned activity she used to care about? - oh, yes, land mines. Madam seems more interested in having as many African nations stamp her passport than really focussing her attention on any one region and relief effort. As The Latin Poors recently discovered, the fate of The Black Poors is not really anything but being a backdrop to MoreMore's latest wardrobe find. Oh, and if they're really lucky, a moment in time framed on the walls of a European gallery during Yrma's The Poors: A Royal Photographic Retrospective.

FAIL: Princess Yrma Sluuuurrrrrpson in New York: Why Poverty Indeed When You Can Shag a Weak Prince and Live on the Taxpayers' Kroner? Amirite!?

"I fight poverty monthly by giving my esthetician loads of Danish taxpayer money in exchange for face fillers, bleach and wax. She uses it to buy food. Therefore, I am a hero."

Back to The Mary Show! Sorry. Hope nobody's eating! Miss Thang made her way from her "sick bed" during her latest Wounded Wife routine in light of her husband partying all night with his jetset buddies the second they touched down in Copenhagen after a visit to Brazil, all the way to New York City to shop and give a little speech on poverty in what looks to be a basement conference room at the United Nations (Ahmadinejad and Bibi with his cartoon bomb got the main auditorium). The real bomb was here when the woman in a new orangey-red dress two sizes too big marched up to the podium and gave a little speech that she had written down but not memorised.

Mary, Mary, so contrary. The poor UN staffers called in to fill some of the seats couldn't have been impressed with this self-conscious wannabe play-ah and her new hair and face fillers. How 'bout some arse fillers to make the dress fit? And really, Madam, new clothes, Prada stilettos and sparkly jools to make the fluff presentation on a new anti-poverty initiative? Could MoreMore be any less qualified to speak to poverty? Unless she's smarter than we've been giving her credit for being and knows exactly how the Danish state is about to go the way of Spain and Greece because of her stopovers later at Saks and Barneys? Or did she talk about how hard it was going into credit card debt while waiting on her destiny, the Black Amex attached to a whiskey-soaked pudding of a man hoovering kroner straight out of the pockets of hard working Danes?
