This weekend the country's future Queen was out for a fun and wet party in central London.

The party was held at restaurateur Soren Jessen fashionable restaurant 1 Lombard Street, on the occasion of his 50th birthday. And of course the party had a theme, that of Gatsby.

Therefore, Mary pulled up in evening wear, which she probably would not have chosen if Queen Margrethe had hosted the party. For Mary wore a thigh-length, white dress and with a thin, black lace overlay. In fact, the dress was so short that the Crown Princess tightened her exposed thighs when she got into a car. In the long, royal locks, the ruby tiara was replaced with a double silver chain and around Mary's neck were several long, black, pearl necklaces.

Guests included many with a Danish touch such as the former Countess Christiane Wedell from Frijsenborg Castle, Christina Tholstrup, daughter of Kiki Tholstrup who is now married to Roger Moore, and restaurateur herself, and they were all dressed up so they could easily have been extras in the film 'The Great Gatsby'.

Mary was accompanied by her and Crown Prince Frederik's close friend, Julie Mølsgaard, one of the royal couple's most discreet and closest friends.

It was also Julie Mølsgaard who in the past and in the deepest secrecy showed Mary the life as a future Dane and Crown Princess. Just as she showed Mary around in Copenhagen and not least shielded her from the press.

In the pictures of Mary and Julie Mølsgaard together, one can see that Julie Mølsgaard still takes her role as Mary's shield seriously. She holds Mary by the hand as they walk down the restaurant's stairs, keeping her clutch shield end up against the photographer's flashes when Mary and she entered the back seat of the waiting car.

Confirmation that the Danish crown prince couple have both been reduced to children who must be controlled by others who know better.

Look for Mary in LOTS of Temperley soon. Mary is collecting quite a few flirty boy toys these days, isn't she? But Garde Due stands out since he is in the luxury goods business. Trouble in Paradise?: Derfie's Friends Selling Multi-Million Dollar Homes

Ooh-ooh. Derfie's friends are falling on hard times which does not bode well for him and Madam having fun on their tab, as they usually do as the Grand Master and Mistress in their frequent showy parades of freebies (pesky taxpayers complaining about their spending). First Peter Warnøe, who "hired" Mary for a fake job at his Microsoft subsidiary Navision back in 2002, has had to put his home on the market (for just shy of 79 million kroner!). Now Jeppe and Brigitte Handwerk are selling their large home of only less than two years. Jeppe is Fred's Navy SEALS partner and godfather to Christian, and looks to be somewhat of a house flipper and amateur profiteer. Show me your friends, as the saying goes.

Warnøe's McPalace, like Jeppe Handwerk's, is north of Copenhagen on the waterfront of the Øresund (the sound that separates Denmark and Sweden), in the very ritzy, desirable and snooty so-called 'Whisky Belt' along the coastal motorway, the Strandvej. This is the area where Christian attends public grammar school, a decision by the DumbleDorks that is not very democratic nor wise, since their family of royal gargoyles does not pay property tax in the area (Derf and Yrma probably use one of their friends' addresses) and clearly only wants slow Christian to socialise with the richie riches of Denmark instead of challenging him intellectually as a legacy student at Krebs' Skole.

The Crown Prince's Best Friend Sells Million Kroner Palace

Crown Prince Frederik's closest friend, millionaire and business owner Jeppe Handwerk, has in just two years as a homeowner in Vedbæk, decided to sell his villa.

Handwerk paid 35 million kroner in November 2010 for a magnificent palace at Vedbæk, with the address of Strandvej 434, after negotiating the price down by 15 million kroner. But now he will take out the 403-square-foot house looking out over the Øresund coast, with an offer of 45 million kroner, the Crown Prince's friend hopes to score 10 million kroner, writes boliga.dk

Fountains and pavilions

The sale of the luxury villa is handled by luxury broker Ivan Eltoft Nielsen, and he emphasises, among other things, the over 5000 square meters of grounds, lattice gates at the entrance pond with statue and fountain and the two pavilions at the water's edge where you can enjoy views over the Sound.

Inside, the house is modernised and can be bid on a new kitchen and three new bathrooms, hall, lounge and library.

Tips from Warnøe

Maybe Jeppe Handwerk can get tips on selling from another of Crown Prince Frederik's close friends, IT-millionaire Peter Warnøe, who last year put his huge villa on Taarbæk Strandvej on sale for 77.9 million kroner.

No one has yet shown themselves willing to pay the price, but if you can scrape together the tens of millions, you will get among other things, access to a 540 square meter house with wine cellar, 10 bedrooms, a cinema and fitness and spa area with Jacuzzi, a cold water bath, steam bath and sauna.

Gave Mary a job

Jeppe Handwerk, who owns a construction company, Copenhagen Group, met Crown Prince Frederik in the Frogman Corps in 1995 and has since been one of his closest friends.

Jeppe Handwerk and his wife, Birgitte Handwerk, stood as godparents respectively, to Prince Christian and Princess Josephine. Warnøe, who founded IT companies Merkantildata and Aston group, has long been a regular visitor to Crown Prince couple events and has for several years made his ski chalet in Switzerland available when Frederik and Mary needed a holiday.

Peter's mother is Anne Fabricius-Bjerre who is divorced from Bent Fabricius-Bjerre, the famous composer of the Matador soundtrack. Hm, no more freebie Verbier visits for Derf and Yrma?

Crown Prince's friend pressured to make fire sales

Former IT and property millionaire Peter Warnøe is put into administration by the Nykredit and BRF banks after a loss of over 100 million kroner in the past two years. Combined with a debt of over 400 million dollars, creditors have been allocated to push a sale through IT investing Danish properties.

The former founder of IT firms Merkantildata and Aston Group is now put into administration by the banks after losses of more than 100 million dollars the last two years.

The loss comes as a result of Peter Warnøe's recent investing heavily in real estate in Denmark, Germany and Dubai, through its private company Oyster Invest, which at its turn was indebted to, among others BRF and Nykredit, for over 400 million dollars.

Besides banks and credit BRF has control over the IT entrepreneur's business, they have also pledged his private residence at Taarbæk Strandvej looking out onto the Öresund.

The villa was bought in 2007 for 35 million dollars, and although it currently can only be sold for roughly the same amount, the large estate north of Copenhagen mortgaged for well over 60 million dollars from the two aforementioned creditors and Savings Lolland.

It is also clear from the accounts that Oyster Invest in just one year has increased its expensive, short-term bank debt from 68 to nearly 200 million dollars, and therefore Peter Warnøe now must sell off his many properties from the banks creating the capital needed for to him to keep the heavily indebted group afloat.

Sale in July

According to the accounts owner Peter Warnøe's properties are worth over 400 million dollars, but since then creditors, with Nykredit and BRF at the head, have pressured a sale through the rich man's Danish properties.

It is especially Danish properties and projects in Dubai, which have caused problems for Peter Warnøe, while his German properties have evolved relatively sensibly, as they have managed to rent several rooms that previously were empty.

"Here in July, I sold all my Danish property portfolio as a way to reduce my balance, in agreement with the banks. I have had a good dialogue with them and I am satisfied with the sale. I've never been a property man, and now it is IT I'll bet on. It is also there where I have my skills," says Peter Warnøe who has other investments together with Preben Damgaard.

Satisfied with the trade

In addition to his business in the industry, Peter Warnøe is primarily known for his close relations with the Danish royal family and especially Crown Prince Frederik. Besides the large villa he owns looking out onto the Öresund, he also has among other things a chalet in Verbier, that Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary frequently used.

"I am well pleased that I have sold my property. Running a property portfolio is a completely different game today than five years ago", says Peter Warnøe.

At Nykredit they do not want to comment on their exposure because the bank generally does not comment on customer relationships.
