A belated birthday present for Mary is this article from Her og Nu comparing Yrma to a top model. You can tell it's killing its author, she pokes Mary for flaunting an impossible post-baby body. It's short and can't seem to go on to long, and the writer does point out helpfully that Yrma's shiny white suit was too small for her, but still, it probably makes the old gal's day. Aren't she and the Danish press just grotesque in their co-dependency!?

Crown Princess Mary was the guest of honour at the ECCO Awards last Tuesday as Copenhagen Fashion Week kicked off. And Mary, who turned 40 on Sunday, wasn't just obviously happy to be back among the many fashion-conscious guests - although she showed off, just one year after the twins' birth, a lean and flexible body that most women would envy. Even those who have given birth to fewer than four children, like herself.
The Crown Princess simply looked like a dream in her tight, bright pants suit to which she only added simple black suede stilettos and a black lacetop. Mary doesn't even need jewelry to adorn herself with to look good, and only a few rings were in use.
