Sunday, 15 January. A gala dinner was thrown in honour of Daisy at Christiansborg Slot, the seat of the government. Speeches were given by Prince Henrik and Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt. In a wonderful twist of classy new money spanking down a Taroona slapper's attempts at an uprise, Mary's ruby parure thunder was stolen by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece wearing her grandmother-in-law Queen Frederiki's dazzling diamond tiara that hasn't been seen since the fail of King Constantine's 1967 counter-coup against the military junta in Greece. Whether the piece was sold to be bought back by the Anglo-American millionairess or whether it was just in mothballs for other reasons we don't know, but what a show she put on. Mary who!?
